Hello,
This is to inform you that Google is now working through App Developer accounts to ensure they are verified.
Please make sure your Google Developer Account is verified as soon as possible, or you could risk Google closing your account, and your android mobile apps being removed from the app store. If this happens, SoCast will not be able to access your Google Developer account or update and submit apps, and you will need to start the entire app process over.
SoCast will be charging a $300 onboarding fee for any android apps we need to rebuild and publish, if your Google Developer Account Closes.
For most of you, your window to complete account verification for your Play Console developer account should now be open. Multiple emails would have already been sent to the Account Holder from Google Play.
An Admin on the account or the Account holder, will need to complete these requirements. It is your responsibility as the Account Admin / Owner of your Google Developer account to read all emails and action any items. This is not something SoCast can assist with due to legal requirements. It must be completed by your Google Developer Account holder.
If you don’t complete verifications by your deadline (which you can find by going to the messages folder in your account), your developer profile and apps will be removed from Google Play. Please log into your Google Developer account, and verify the following. (most of this should have been done with you first created the account)
What you need to provide to verify
- a D-U-N-S number for your organization
- Make sure that the information Dun & Bradstreet hold about your organization is accurate and up to date
- a phone number and email address for Google Play users to contact you
- a phone number and email address for Google to contact you
- an official document to verify your identity
- an official document to verify your organization
- If you earn money on Google Play using Google Play billing, you’ll also need to verify your merchant payment details.
