Want to boost engagement without breaking your prizing budget? You’ve come to the right place! Mega Contest promotions are free for Engage Suite clients and are automatically included in your monthly content. We provide the cash prize, and our team of content and design professionals handle all aspects of creation and winner fulfillment. Please check your emails for the latest Mega Contest information and links to our blog where you can download all assets for each monthly contest.
The Mega Contest is a national contest. If a member of your database wins for the month, we will reach out to you to see if you would like to contact the winner directly to get a soundclip. Once you contact the winner, just let us know and we can handle the rest. If you choose not to contact the winner, also let us know and we will reach out to them directly to handle their prize fulfillment.
As for promotion, you can choose how you wish to promote it. You can choose to promote the contest heavily on your radio station, website, social media, and email with the liners, graphics, and Tweets we provide, or choose to not promote it at all and have it just running passively on your Engagement Site. You can also opt out of it all together on a monthly basis depending on what local contests you have going on. Just let our team know.
Each prize has a value of between $1500-$3000 and suggestions are given for how to spend the money based on the theme for the monthly contest. For example, our last holiday contest, suggestions such as a ski trip, holiday decorations, and finishing shopping were given. The winner however will just get a check and can decide themselves how they want to spend the money.
The Mega Contest has proven to be a valuable tool for many stations who do not generally have a big prize to promote on a monthly basis. The prize helps drive participation with the listener club and of course helps build the database by driving members to sign up, and share the contest with their friends and families.
